Acts 11:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Acts 11:27-28 International Standard Version (ISV)
27 At that time some prophets from Jerusalem came down to Antioch. 28 One of them named Agabus got up and predicted by the Spirit that there would be a severe famine all over the world. This happened during the reign of Claudius.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
27 These men of God were moved because of how the church was moving in Antioch and wanted to go see it.
28 So God lets the church know that there was going to be a famine. We don’t avoid bad things when we come to Christ but do have Him to see us thru them and help us as we go thru them.
