Acts 10:26-28 King James Version (KJV)
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

27 As Peter talked with him, he went in and found that many people had gathered. 28 He told them, “You understand how wrong it is for a Jew to associate or visit with unbelievers. But God has shown me that I should stop calling anyone common or unclean,

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
26 Peter wasn’t to be worshiped, Peter wanted to encourage and lead people to worship Jesus not for them to come to worship him.
27 They had come together in faith in the Lord. The Lord had been working there.
28 This is big for Peter, Peter’s viewpoint would not have changed if it hadn’t been changed by the Lord. This vision would further split the Jews from the Christians. This would allow Gentiles to come to faith without first becoming Jewish.
