Acts 10:39-41 King James Version (KJV)
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
Acts 10:39-41 International Standard Version (ISV)
39 We are witnesses of everything Jesus did in the land of the Jews, including Jerusalem.
“They hung him on a tree and killed him, 40 but God raised him on the third day and allowed him to appear— 41 not to all the people, but to us who were chosen by God to be witnesses and who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

39 We know that Jesus died on the cross, although we were not eyewitnesses like they were but we are eyewitnesses of how God has moved in ours life. Christ died on the cross but still lives and moves today.
40 God rose from the grave, the tomb is empty. Many eyewitnesses saw Him raised from the dead. The first to die then live forever more and likewise we can do the same thru faith in Him.
41 Jesus fellowship with a group of disciples when He returned and today by the Holy Spirit we fellowship with our Lord. What a sweet fellowship it is.
